By the Horns Muted - B&W Version of "By the Horns"... 1937 Dodge Pick-up
Knot Head - This was a nice carving done by a local artist. It was in honor of Natives that used to reside in the area.
Robert Mills Carriage House - Doted to be the first born American professional architect, Robert Mills designed many of the significant historical buildings in not only Columbia, SC, but also in a few other key areas in colonial America. He was a student of James Hoban, the designer of the White House, and like his mentor, became a Freemason. For those of you in PA, he designed Washington Hall, the Samson Street Baptist Church, and the Octagon Unitarian Church, as well as the Upper Ferry Bridge covering. In VA, he designed the Monumental Church in Richmond. In Baltimore, he designed St. John's Episcopal Church, the Maryland House of Industry, the Maryland Club, and more notably, the Washington Monument. In his homestate, he designed court houses (in at least 18 counties), the campus of USC, jails, and the Fireproof Building (also known as the County Records Building) in Charleston, noted to be the first "fireproof" building in America. In Washington, D.C., he designed the U.S. Patent Office Building, the Department of Treasury Building and a few other federal buildings.
