Be Thankful!

I'll really be back next week, G-d willing. I was out of town, and am making a wedding for someone on Sunday. Meetings..... Meanwhile a quick post.

Life is very hard for most old people here. They get a pittance of a pension, and need much more. Many sit on low folding stools at corners selling semitchki (roasted sunflower seeds,) or cigarettes. Neither rain nor sleet nor snow nor cold keeps them indoors. Without this income they could not manage to survive! This woman has made homemade lollipops and sells them. When we see what they have to do, we realize how much we have to be thankful for!
